I think they gave like $100k as a donation, which is great. But they were demanding WPE I think for around 32 million a year or something nuts. You could argue PHP is way more important to WordPress than WPE is.
They've done the userspace bringup for linux since apple silicon servers allegedly exist. The drivers exist already so just throwing the device tree over the wall can't be that hard. Nobody is asking for systemready/UEFI or mainline linux.
Anything similar for Android (or anyone want to burn some tokens cloning)?
I see the readme mentions it's inspired by Loop. Ideally something that also allows tracking not-necessarily-habit daily things (drank coffee at time y)
Azure database was mostly for enterprise use-cases. Rebuilding a lot of things in-house is a real trend, especially for Claude Code when you don't ask it explicitly to consider all solutions and avoid overhead of managing things yourself. Codex and Cursor seem to have this in mind more naturally (at least using GPT-5.6 Sol / Grok 4.6)
They love adding flags to fix issues that users have without telling their users about the flags. It very much feels like: As long as our staff can have a good user experience, we're happy. We don't care about anyone else.
Agreed, but reminds me of the unfortunate usage of English as the de facto global standard. Ironically funny to see computers chattering in this odd piecemeal of a language. (I am a native speaker of English)
Would be interesting to see LLMs talk in something more terse like Vietnamese.
Claude.ai, set to Opus xhigh, attach file, "Try to decode the file format of this save game from Name of Game. Do research if necessary"
If the file's too big, you'll probably need to download a harness/local app. If you go local route, make sure you have a backup in case the LLM breaks the file
The local route it can also try to poke at the binaries that read/write the file so it would have a bit more to work with going that route
Does Wordpress "give back" to PHP and Linux?
