Not to mention all of those developers are writing their own "Getting started with AWS!!!" blog posts that recommend Ubuntu as well.
If I were Amazon (and if I really cared which OS my customers used), I would rebrand Amazon Linux. Having the company name in the title just screams "vendor lock-in" to management.
What else are they supposed to call it? Its Amazon's tweak and modifications to the Fedora/Enterprise Linux family, tuned and tweaked for their platform
