I am reading up on stats after 15 years away from the subject and even the very basic stuff I have forgotten. Although the 'muscle memory' is there so that perhaps it is a bit easier then when totally new.
What I also find is I am more interested in the application/intuition behind something now rather than the mechanics of the formulas. Maybe that has to do with a different aim i.e. usefulness vs. passing an exam..
