Of course, from a broader perspective everything is political, but not necessarily party-political. That's a partisan minefield, and the degeneration of public discourse means that it's a very shallow muddy pool these days. But we have to start talking about things beyond election cycles, like how everyone can live dignified lives when automation really starts biting.
