Is Safari the new Internet Explorer?

It's hard to say this. On the one hand, they're totally missing out on extra features like WebRTC. On the other hand, they're the only browser with 100% ES2015 shipping and 100% ES2016+ complete in dev.

You can beat on them for missing the bonus questions, but they're the only one answered all of the questions on the main exam correctly and they were the first ones done...

Service workers aren't a bonus anymore. Safari alone is holding back webapps considerably.

It's really all over the board. Some things are in Safari Tech Preview that even chrome doesn't have (some new JS stuff) - and others are like this.
