I've always hated Scribd; it's effectively a PDF hosting site which doesn't allow anybody to download the PDF. Instead, we have to deal with their horrible flash/html abortion of an interface.
Probably different sets of people. I always preferred the original PDF over whatever Scribd could give me (usually long loading time and lower usability).
If only Scribd and Flash in general would allow my two finger scrolling to work, it would be much better. I don't like having to go grab the scroll bar just to be able to scroll down in a flash document.
