In every single functioning state, you do what the police tell you or they use violence to coerce you. This is basically what defines the existence of a 'state', the alternative is anarchy.
The alternative is not anarchy. Peaceful resistance is a valid way to protest something that is wrong.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
