Rather than the size of the community, I'd really prefer if we had more distributed and decentralized communities.

The pendulum has swung markedly from distributed to centralized communities in the last decade. Would be nice if it finally swung back somewhat in the other direction.

I'm feeling a bit nostalgic for the internet of the early 2000s.
