It was against the TOS to do pretty much anything with the Google Glass API. They forbid both charging for apps and showing ads. (And then wondered why no one wrote them a killer app.)
I hope Google learned from the Google Glass fiasco, and makes sure their ARCore Terms of Service Agreement strictly forbids posting photos of yourself in the shower.
