I noticed the same thing and thought I was going crazy. It turns out that the blog link goes to a stripped-down alternate version of this page:

http://blogs.valvesoftware.com/abrash/why-you-wont-see-hard-...

It looks like the page has now been changed to include the full view including name in the header section. :) Its really eerie not being able to see who's the author of a piece of writing.
