First, since I took this class just a year ago, I can answer all of these questions. Will I be able to do so in two or three years? Probably not. Some things like heapsort already start to fade away in my mind. But if, even in 20 years, Ijust open Cormen et al. and take a brief look I will remember.
If you have passed the class in university and now feel bad that you can't answer these questions, don't worry. It does not matter. If you want to work at Google, work through Cormen again before the interview.
