It will boost pirated copies on steroid. I am 100% sure many of my friends buying resale will be able to play on day 1 forgoing the resale option. 100%.

Piracy is only doable on PC. GTA6 is specifically excluding PC from the initial launch because it was so widely pirated and modded.
