There's a laser treatment for floaters now (laser vitreolysis). It's not always applicable and it has its own risks and side effects.

Floaters don't pose any danger as long as its long term stable condition and not sudden spike indicating ie retina issues. Why the heck would anybody risk eyesight for such thing? Or is it making life a nightmare for more obsessive individuals?

Anmy papers on that working. The main NHS hospital for eyes in UK (Moorfields) says that has no proof of working.
