Social media is addictive. RSS is not. Social media is profitable so worth marketing. RSS is not.

It's the ability to reply, I think. Like this one. Makes you feel like you're doing something even though you're just shouting into a black hole where some other people are also shouting and you might even hear each other sometimes.

Way too much, obviously. It’s an Android app that exposes the underlying Android OS cli, and bolts on a Linux user space. Unsure why it’s relevant to this discussion

Termux lets you run on your phone things you'd normally need a Linux (apple) pc or a vps.

macOS mail application used to receive RSS news feeds. It couldn't be simpler for your mom than that. She wouldn't even need to log onto twitter
