What were the biggest challenges you faced while adapting a smartphone for use in space? At any time, were there any technical hurdles you felt could prohibit the entire project?

* You're not allowed to use electrolytic caps in space... seems trivial, but it really forces you to change designs for things.

* Technical hurdles not really, but there was a lot of bureaucracy involved.
