Groundwater is bad in Greenpoint but that's not where tap water comes from in New York. Nearly all drinking water in New York City comes from reservoirs & lakes upstate.

We have plenty of bad things in Greenpoint but I'm not sure our tap water is one of them. At least it's not stopping me from drinking it right now.
