No. AT&T owns Direct TV, not Dish Network

Dish network owns blockbuster. As I recall through they don't allow you uncapped bandwidth on their network for blockbuster, which I think is by law.

National Amusements (Viacom's main shareholder) isn't interested in selling to a 3rd party[1]: "To avoid any doubt, National Amusements is not willing to accept or support (i) any acquisition by a third party of either company or (ii) any transaction that would result in National Amusements surrendering its controlling position in either company or not controlling the combined company."

Everything has a price, though, one can imagine.

It wouldn't be particularly different than Comcast (which owns a lot of media).

I would think they also have other media properties, but AT&T already owns DirectTV, which has a little bit of production.
